Did Alan Carr play a blinder? Or did the loyal contestants just play incredibly – I mean phenomenal terribly? We will argue across online platforms for some time, in any case the victor of the debut – and likely not the final – edition of The Celebrity Traitors is the deceptive Alan Carr.

A pair of players cast their votes for a different contestant, regardless of the historian’s impressive record of reasoning himself to every erroneous outcome conceivable. I hold strong in my view that this player would have made the world’s greatest traitor, but as a faithful he was calamitous.

He succeeded to vote for a fellow participant at the meeting, nonetheless, and she was accurately eliminated at last.

Emotion and Resolution

Now we are four. It is difficult to recount to detail what happened next. A specific participant … felt a hesitation. A moment when he questioned his closest ally. A standout love stories of our or any age, between the hugest man and the most diminutive character on the screen, the athlete and the puzzlemaster, reeled under the shock as the hesitant one revealed his last vote to unveil his best buddy’s name.

The accused remained steady – he is not built for it – but were it possible, he would have. “But I love you,” the participant said, helplessly.

The eliminated player left, the remaining two assumed they were in the clear and subsequent to an activity featuring tossing bags into a fire, the three decided to conclude the game.

Being the only last betrayer, Alan was proclaimed the success and secured the complete cash sum for the pediatric cancer organization. Yet, the key aspect is that when the host led the five to a reunion on the manor entrance, reconciliation was immediate.

Farewell to the Cast

I shall, in company with the in excess of 13 million other viewers, long for each one. (Except for a couple of participants who did not have the opportunity to achieve a lot, and another who did not express regret for mishandling a certain mission.)

I am going to regret the loss of the bitter fury of a certain contestant, the theatrical sadness of another, the total incapacity of another participant to view challenges through a personal lens.

I will yearn for a certain player’s aversion to lengthy terms, a pair’s humor, an artist’s sheer presence, a star as the distillation of everything that remains good in this flawed existence, a veteran host as the small screen’s final performer, a sweet-natured contestant and the constant uncle-like charm of a beloved figure, together with all the last-round players.

Above all I will pine for the grace and elegance of an individual participant, so remarkably majestic even when screaming down a well or farting in a shack. As the individual under the host’s hair made clear on many occasions, you were, mostly, terrible as players. But you were superb, fantastic amusement.
